FAQ

We provide treatment for many psychiatric conditions including anxiety, irritability, difficulty concentrating, sleep problems, poor stress tolerance, depression, trauma-related syndromes and attentional issues.

However, severe illness may be better suited by a program offering  wrap-around services. If after screening or initial assessment, we find that our practice may not be the best fit for your needs, we can provide resources for other providers.

We offer telehealth and in-person appointments and services, though some in-person appointments may be legally required or clinically necessary.

Regulatory changes by the DEA require in-person appointments for individuals prescribed controlled/scheduled medications.

We DO NOT provide controlled medication during initial evaluations.

We may prescribe controlled substances when clinically indicated and appropriate. We have no obligation to continue treatment as prescribed by other clinicians. We monitor the prescription drug monitoring database regularly. We reserve the right to terminate the clinical relationship and discontinue services if suspected of diverting, improperly obtaining or otherwise misusing controlled substances. Clients receiving controlled-medication will be asked to sign an agreement for proper use.

Please note, legislative changes may require at least one in-office visit to prescribe controlled substances.

You can securely message your provider between sessions using the Tebra/Kareo portal. Outside of appointments, routine needs including medication refills and appointment information can also be managed by email or calling our office. Some clinical issues can not be appropriately managed over the phone or messages and may require an appointment with your provider.
