tatum

Tatum is biracial queer woman whose personal and professional identity is deeply rooted in anti-oppressive healing and the pursuit of equity—both within and beyond the therapy room.

Tatum is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Her clinical lens is strongly influenced by attachment theory, experiential and neuropsychology. For over seven years, Tatum has been working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families across all levels of care—including Outpatient, IOP, PHP, Residential, and Inpatient programs. She specifically loves working with couples, young adults apart of LGBTQ+ population in areas of:

  • Life and vocational direction
  • Relational difficulties
  • Fertility struggles (including infertility)
  • Disordered eating tendencies
  • Diagnosed eating disorders
  • Trauma (acute and chronic)
  • Abuse (emotional, physical, sexual, spiritual)
  • Depression| Grief and Loss
  • General longing for a sense of belonging and love

Her individual and couples therapy centers on helping clients process emotions to reach core affective experiences, allowing for deeper integration and growth. In family work, she helps de-escalate conflict cycles that reinforce insecurity, guiding parents and caregivers to be emotionally engaged, responsive, and present. She partners with families to rebuild secure connections marked by trust, communication, and mutual support. Tatum’s goal is to foster safety, deepen insight, and create transformative spaces where clients can move toward wholeness, connection, and lasting change.
