What conditions can talk therapy help with?

Talk therapy at Head Well supports individuals/couples and families dealing with:

  • Anxiety and depression
  • Trauma and PTSD
  • Life transitions and identity shifts
  • Hormonal mood changes
  • Emotional dysregulation and stress-related symptoms
  • Relationship to self and relationships with others; working through attachment

What makes your approach to therapy unique?

We combine evidence-based psychiatric care with:

  • Trauma-informed therapy
  • Mind-body practices like mindfulness and breathwork
  • Lifestyle medicine including nutrition, sleep, and movement
  • Functional testing to uncover root causes like hormonal or nutrient imbalances

Can I do therapy remotely?

Yes. We offer both in-person and telehealth sessions. Our secure Tebra platform allows you to connect with your provider from the comfort of your home, with messaging and appointment support between sessions

Do I need a referral?

Not necessarily. If you are already a patient at Head Well, therapy may be included in your treatment plan. For new patients, we may recommend an initial psychiatric evaluation to determine the best course of care

What if I already have a therapist?

That’s great! We often coordinate care with outside therapists, especially for patients undergoing ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. Our goal is to ensure you have a strong support system in place.
